How does online streaming work?
Accompanying the cinema screenings, all festival films are shown online at HoF On Demand on the Internet. The films can be watched as single downloads (VoD) after the premiere in the cinema. Selected film premieres are shown via live stream from the cinema. A film on HoF On Demand is available 24 hours after the first viewing.
Are there any streaming restrictions?
The use of HoF On Demand is only possible within Germany. Depending on the film, there may be a limit on the maximum number of views as well as on the time available online.
Where do I register?
Please create a user account (LOGIN top right) on the film and ticket portal with your e-mail address and a personal password. Upon successful registration you will receive a confirmation e-mail with an activation link for your account (please check your spam folder!). By clicking on the confirmation link in the e-mail you activate your account. You are now automatically logged in and your name appears in the upper right corner of the screen instead of LOGIN.
What happens if I have forgotten my password?
Just click on "Forgot your password?" on the login page and enter the e-mail address you used to create your account. You will then receive an e-mail with a link to reset your password.
